Borough Council, will at a Special Meeting to be held at the Town Hall } Hokitika, on THURSDAY, the 7th DAY of SEPTEMBER, 1939, at noon, MAKE and LEVY the following RATES on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Hokitika, for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1939, and ending on the 31st of March, 1940, namely:— A GENERAL RATE under Sections 77 and 100 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,” of Nine and fiveeighths pence (9|d) in the £. A SEPARATE RATE under Section 52 of “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926,’’ of seven pence (7d) in the £. Special RATES (annually recurring), Loan No. 3, one and three-eighths pence (lgd), Loan No. 4, six eighths pence 6-8 d), Loan No. 5, three eighths pence (gd), Loan No. 7, seven eighths pence (id), No. 8, Water Supply Loan, 1936, three pence (3d) in the £. SANITARY FEE. A uniform Annual Saiitary Fee as provided by Section 90 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, of twenty shillings per pan.
