ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Co. report that at yesterday’s sale their entry consisted of. 40 head of fat cattle, which were submitted to a good attendance oi buyers. There was fairly good competition throughout the sale and prices recorded were very much on a par witi, those of the previous sale; good medium ox and heifer beef sold from 38N to 41/- per hundred. Included in their entry from W. R. Adamson, of Wataroa, was an exceptionally good black poll heifer of outstanding quality, for which there was keen competition, it being finally secured by Messrs. Stewart and Sons of Greymouth, for £l4/2/0. Sales were as follows On account of W. R. Adamson 1 run ner at £6/7/6, 2 heifers at £B/17/6, 2' at £B/17/6, 2 bullocks at £ll/2/6, 2 at £ll/7/6, 2 heifers at £B/2/6, 2 at £9/12/6, 2 bullocks at £9/17/6, 2 at .£lO/17/6t 1 at £ll/7/6, 2 at £ll/17/6, 1 cow at £9/17/6, 1 bullock at £l2/12/6. 1 at £l2/2/6, 2 heifers at £lO/7/6, 2 at £lO/2/6, 1 cow at £B/17/6, 2 heifers at £ll/7/6, 1 heifer at £l4/2/6, 2 at £lO/2/6, 1 bullock at £l4/7/6, 2 at £l2/2/6, 2 at £l2/2/6, 1 stag at £ll/2/6.
