The following are the. individual scores with Villa players names mentioned first: — FIRST ROUND SINGLES. R. Tindaie, beat H. O. Dwan 21/14, 21/6; W. Jarvis beat T. Keown 21/10, 21/16; H. Greenwood lost to D. Morris 15/21, 12/21; E. Newton beat R. McCarthy 21/8, 21/14. SECOND ROUND. Tindaie beat Keown 21/4, 21/7; Jarvis lost to Dwan 13/21, 21/17, 16/21; Newton lost to Morris 16/21, 16/21. THIRD ROUND. Tindaie- beat Morris 21/14, 21/16; Jarvis beat McCarthy 21/9, 21/10; Greenwood beat Dwan 21/13, 16/21. 21/14, Newton beat Keown 21/14, 21/15. FOURTH ROUND. Tindaie beat McCarthy 21/5, 21/8; Jarvis lost to Morris 17/21, 16/21; Greenwood beat Keown 21/14, 21/14; -Newton* idost to Dwan 11/21,, 21/16, 13 y j2L ' | DOUBLES—FIRST ROUND. Tindaie and Jarvis beat Morris and Dwan 21/19, 21/18; Greenwood and Newton beat McCarthy and Keonyi 21/12,21/14. SECOND ROUND. Tindaie and Jarvis beat 'McCarthy and Keown 21/12, 21/12; Greenwood and Newton lost to Morris and Dwan 12/21, 17/21. Contrary to the indications from the scores, some very excellent games resulted, particularly that between O. Dwan and TV. Jarvis, in which both played some brilliant shots. The visitors were later entertained at Herb Moore’s, where a very enjoyable supper was provided.
