AVIATION SUGGESTION. (Australian Press Association). (Received this day at 9.45 a.m.) , SYDNEY, August 22. The “Herald” aviation writer says the aviation authorities in Sydney believe the flying-boat Aotearoa, now on the way from Southampton to Sydney and Auckland, could more usefully be employed on a survey or possible island bases throughout the Pacific, than on th e suggested trial flight between Auckland and America, a route already surveyed.
