INQUEST VERDICT. (Per Press Association. —Copyright). WELLINGTON, July 31. < The cause of the death of Raymond James Marshall, 23, a motor mechanic who collapsed and died on a footpath’ outside a city restaurant early on the morning of July 27. was stated.by the, coroner at the inquest to have been a large piece of meat lodged in the throat. While having a meal Marshal suddenly appeared to choke. He went outside and collapsed and died before the arrival of an ambulance.
