CAR COLLIDES WITH TREE. (Per Press Association—Copyright). PALMERSTON, NORTH, July 31. Colliding with a tree when driving a car in Fitzherbert Avenue shortly before seven this morning, a taxi owner and driver. (Veil H. Terry, was killed instantly, the impact bgdly wrecking the front of the car. The driver was thrown against the windscreen which was shattered, suffering head and. other injuries

Terry had lately been in indifferent health and was being treated for heart trouble. It is believed he had a fainting fit or seizure causing the car to swerve off the road and collide with the tree. There is no sign that the brakes were applied.
