AUCKLAND, April 25

A, three-months-old baby, Ray Waller, son of Reginald Waller, of Henderson, was found dead in his sleeping basket on Monday morning. He was lying on his face. A post mortem examination showed that death was due to asphyxiation, according to evidence given at the inquest. A verdict was returned accordingly. Following his usual custom Mr Waller arose at 5 a.in. to begin milking. Before leaving the house, he carried the child’s from the bedroom to the living room. Mrs Waller arose later, and looked at the child, but did not suspect anything. She prepared his bath and feeding bottle, and, on going to lift him; found that he was dead. PLUNGE FROM CLIFF TOP.
