CAR INTO CREEK

A FAMILY INJURED.

DANNEVIRKE, April 26

A car in which were several Palmer, stonians coming to Dannevirke from the coast, went through the rai] of the approach to a small bridge, about three miles from Dannevirke yesterday afterI iioon and finished up on the side in a stream containing less than a couple ot feet of water. The occupants comprised Mr and Mrs Ernest Williams and three members of the family, Mr B. Williams and Misses Cynthia and • Zonah Williams. The father and son are hairdressers. Mrs Williams fractured a shoulder blade, and has abrasions and shock. Williams senior has concussion and abrasions, wounds on both hands and shock. Cynthia has an injured left ear and Zonah abrasions on the forehead. Williams juhior minor abrasions, and the three ar« also suffering from shock. The condition of the parents is reported to he serious.
