T|ie Taranaki District Committee to-night allowed the appeal of the jockey, It. W. Savage, against a two months’ suspension imposed on him by the Judicial Committee of the Stratford Racing Club for starting from the wrong barrier position in the Kaponga Hack Handicap on the second day pf the Stratford race meeting on January 3. y VICTORIA AMATEUR ACCEPTANCES. The prominent jockey, David (Darby) Munro, was fined £IOO to-day for failing to furnish an income tax return in 1937, when his net income I was estimated at £4OOO.
