AIR FORCE UNIT

SQUADRON FOR BLENHEIM. (Per Press Association—Copyright) WELLINGTON, February 13. The Minister-in-Charge of Aviation, Hon. F. Jones, announced to-day that Cabinet had approved of tire establishment of a regular Air Force'Squadron at Blenheim. The station there will be equipped with single • engine aircraft, for which orders have already been placed in Great Britain. The strength of the squadron will he 18 officers and 131 other ranks. The establishment of this station forms part of a recent expansion programme approved in connection with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Particulars relating to the remaining portion of the programme will he released at ail early date.
