The Italo-Rumanian trade pact was signed on,a basis of the barter of Italian machinery and ships lor Rumanian oil.
REFUGEES
LONDON, December 2
The diplomatic correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says it is likely that’ Argentina, and Brazil will take Jewish refugees if finance can be arranged. No progress could be reported in securing financial concessions from Germany, in spite of British, American and French representations.
It is understood the question will be discussed with the Foreign Minister (.Herr von Ribbentrop) during his visit to Paris, which it is officially announced, will be on December 6.
