SHIPPING NOTES. The Omana has been delayed by rain in her loading of timber at. Greymouth for Melbourne and Adelaide. The Kaiiniro .is expected to leave Greymouth to-day. for Auckland and Portland. The Karu was expected to arrive at Greymouth last night from Wellington, and after discharging inward cargo, loads timber for Petone and Miramar. ; - The Kartigi is. loading at Greymouth for Wellington sailing to-mor-row.

Wainui and the s'.s. Waipahi to provide additional accommodation for cars. The schedule of sailings from Lyttelton, all at 4 p.m., are as follow: —Wainui: Saturday, December 17; Tuesday, December 20; Thursday, December 22. Waipahi: Wednesday, January 4; Friday, Jan uary 6; Monday, January 9. Motor cars will be loaded between.l p.m. and 3 p.m. on the day of sailing.
