At the New South Wales tenuis championships to-dav, all the Davis Cup players entered tlie quarter-finals of the men’s singles,- Quist, BromWith, and Hopman beating tlieir opponents by three straight sets. Crawford defeated Schwartz, 6 1, 3/6. 4/6. 6/2, 6/2.
The New Zealander, -Miss Armstrong, was not playing to-day. SEMI-FINALS IN SINGLES. SYDNEY; December 1. At the New South Wales tennis championships to-day the results were as follows: | In the -semi-finals of the' men’s singles, Bromwich defeated Hopman '6/4, 6/4, l/6 ; 6/0.
