DEFENCE SECRETS BILL. (Received this day at 11.30 a.m.), ~ SYDNEY. September 19. The Minister of Defence (My Thorby) stated the Defence Secrets Bill will be introduced, in the Federal Parliament, which would impose heavy penalties for the publication of secret defence information by newspapers, broadcasting stations or any other medium.
