The Labour Government was. the first to undertake a definite' survey of the farm labour problem,., and had endeavoured to do something for those working on the land.

Mr MdDougair spoke on the housing! shortage, stating the Opposition rafimbers had complained of the cost of the Government’s housing scheme; but f as; long as we had an asset to!the equal' value of the money spent, then lie,, contended, we had value for . our money.. . • . •
