PRIME MINISTER’S REVIEW. \Per Press Association—Copyright). WELLINGTON, June 21. “As far as receptions .went, it Avas a ease of roses all the Avay,” said Mr Savage to-day, when reviewing his recent tour of the southern half of the North Island. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the manner in Avhiclv the people everywhere had received him with soinothing like ,an embarrassment of kindness. Nothing m his experience excelled the delight and encouragement experienced on this tour, Avliieh ivas, primarily, a goodwill mission. His greatest pleasure was in meeting people face to face. It might he, said Air Savage, that some of the people avlio Avelcomed him vote against the Labour Party. But they had a perfect right to \'oto then own way. He had not gone on any vote-catching tour, but to meet the people at first- band, and to learn tlieii needs. If there should be any political significance, in the experience, he Avould be pleased to accept the favour of‘tlie people.
