WEDDING BELLS
SPAR ICES—KINO. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised in St. Paul’s Methodist Church on Thursday last, when Gladys, third daughter of the late Mr and Mrs King, Brittan Street, was married to George Edward, elder son of Mr and the late Mrs 0. E. Sparkos, South Hokitika. The Rev. Alien Carr officiated. Entering the church on the arm of her brother, Mr S. King, the bride looked charming in a lovely gown of mangolia satin bcaute. The heart-shap-ed neck-line was caught each side with a ilia mute clip, and was softly rucked to the waist. Her hand-embroider-ed tulle veil fell from a coronet of orange blossoms, and site carried a. bouquet of chrysanthemums. Site was attended by Isalx-l Smith, who was gowned in a frock of coral satin bcaute, cut on classical lines, Tt had a stand-up collar of stiffened net. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Earle Owens as best man. The bride travelled in a brown costume, with accessories to tone. The reception was held at the bride’s home where Mrs King received the guests in a navy costume. The happy couple left by ear for Nelson, where the honeymoon will be spent. Their future home will be at South Hokitika.
