Mr .T. O’Brien, Member for Westland, will address the electors at the, Town Hall to-night at 8 o’clock. On Monday and Tuesday nights Mr O’Brien, will at Kokatahi and Koiterangi respectively, devote the major part of his addresses to the guaranteed prices for dairy produce. He cordially invites all farmers and other directly or indirectly interested in the welfare of the primary producers to attend these metings, at which questions will be welcomed, and misrepresentations exposed.

While appreciating the desire for cooperation by the 'Westland Committee in conducting the centenial celebrations on the West Coast, it was decided by [ the Puller County Council to adhere to I the decision made at a combined I meeting of the County and Westport Borough Councils that the JBuller district conduct its own celebrations. A letter bad been received from the New Zealand Centenial Committee asking the Council to consider its decision not to join the Westland Committee. It was said by the Clerk-Engineer (Mr C. F. Schadick) that the Westland Committee proposed sending a deputatin to meet tin* Puller local bodies. It was considered bv some councellors that Buber was quite capable and justified in conducting its own celebrations.
