WESTLAND SITH-UNION ■MEETS. ATr F. Freitas was in the chair at the usual weekly meeting of the Westland 'Rugby Sub-Union held last evening at 7 o'clock. The following members were present: Messrs S. More, W. Kearns, A. Stevenson, J. Couls'on, D. Breeze, ,J. Howat, 1). Spence, A. Lawn, G. Barrett and E. W. Hoonan (secretary). Apologies for C. L. Harper and W. H. Stopforth. The caretaker of the square reported that the Square was cutting up on the western side. Referees reports were read and received. It was res-.'ved to alter the light so as to better illuminate mid field. Ik. Taiuni and R. .1. Scott were granted reclassification from senior to junior grade. The Rival football club wrote supplying full information in regard to their club and membership. 'Pile letter was received and it was decided that the club •xi accented and plac'd in the junior competition, players to become financial to their original clubs if any. An application for a transfer from Pirate seniors to Excelsior seniors by A lister Johnson was deferred for one week. The foboning fixtures were set down for Saturday:— JUNIOR. ' ] Kiwis v.
