Brilliant sunshine favoured the filial day of the Avondale Jockey Club’s autumn meeting. The totalisator handled £30,811, compared with £27,0281 last year, an increase of £3783. The figures for the meeting were £65,275, compared with £64,8651' last year, an increase of £4091. Results: —

AUSTRALIAN RACES
SYDNEY. April 27
Radiant Walla, who won tho Sydney Derby at Harold Park trots yesterday, has now won a Derby in three States. He is regarded as the outstanding three-year-old pacer in Australia. Lawn Derby has added to his laurels, by winning the Harold Park Handicap, over a mile and n-hnlf, in 3.16 1-5, beating Walla Walla’s record, established in 1930.

Racing at, Victoria Park, the Limorid gelding, Aladdin, won the First. Division of f the Encourage Handicap. J[r H. AV. Devon, who purchased Gay Chou- at yesterday's rncehn-so s"’<'s. intends to try the gelding at a hurdler and later to send him to New Zealand. Gay Chou has entered Jamieson’s stables.
