EVERYBODY’S THEATRE. TO-NIGHT AND TUESDAY* “WHERE’S SALLY” AND “BRIDES ARE LIKE THAT.” Gene Gerrard promises to bring- a big package of laughs to the' Princess Theatre to-night in his latest Warner Bros. Teddington production, “Where’sSally”. The picture is full of humorous situations, and is the story of Jimmy Findlay, vyho immediately following his marriage to Sally Hickory, finds the wedding reception invaded by a wound dozen old flames, brought along by Jiis well-meaning but fatuous pal, Tony drivers, while his other intimate, Dick • Burgess, gives a tipsy speech that paints the bridegroom’s past a particularly lurid shade of blue. Off on a, honeymoon to a bad start, the hapless Jimmy finds his troubles only beginning but eventually triumphs, emerging unscathed from a welter of hilarious vicissitudes that would have downed a. lesser man. A new Warner Bros, comedy “Brides are Like That,” which promises to be one of the most hilarious fun makers of the season, comes to the Princess Theatre to-night. Based on the stage hit, “Applesauce,” by Bijrry Conners, the picture has all the ingredients, not only of riotous comedy, hut an except-? ioinal romance. The picture centres about the activities of a. happy-go-lucky ne’er-do-well who knows every dog in town by its first name and has such a tremendous gift,for flattery that no one can help liking him. Ross Alexander and Anita Louise play the featured roles as the young lovers. .....
