' The National Executive has endorsed the selection of Mr MacGregor as the Labour Party’s candidate for the Kaipjira seat at the general election. For ten years he lias been one of the settlers on the Whenuauui soldiers’ block at Ruawail He was a. director of the Ruawai J>ajry Company, president of the Ruawai branch of the Farmers’ Union and vice-president of the northern Wairoa sub-provincial executive of the Farmers’ Minion and president of the Ruawai bijanch of the New Zealand Labour Party. The Xat-ional Executive has endorsed the selection of the following sitting members toi contest the electorates named:—Mr 11. Hodgens ' (Palmerston North) Revi Clyde Carr (Timaru), Mr A. F.
