SUCCESSFUL TENDERER.

DUNEDIN, March 9
The tender of the Love Construction Company of Dunedin, in conjunct!, in with the Fletcher'Construction Company of ' Woll'ingtoff has Been accepted for the erection of buildings to house the Centennial Exhibition at Wellington in 1940. The cost of the first series of structures, exclusive of some essential buildings to be erected later, will be about £150,000.
The acceptance of this tender will involve the association of the same “team” which played a prominent part in the successful Dunedin Ex* hibition 12 years ago.
Tlie architect for the Centennial Exhibition, Mr E. A, Anscombe, the manager, Mr C. P. Hainsworth, and now the contractors, Messrs bletcher and Love, were all connected with the Dunedin Exhibition of 1925-26 in the same respective capacities. In addition, Mr Charles Todd, Wellington, director of the Centennial Exhibition, was also director of/ tlie Dunedin Exhibition.
