WELLINGTON, February' 10.

General inference: The recent anticyclone is now centred east of New Zealand and a very shallow depression is located over the western Tasman Sea; pressure is falling also in the north Tasman, where there is some indication of disturbed conditions developing. The forecast is for light to moderate but gradually freshening northerly wind, weather fair to cloudy with warm and humid conditions, hut later some scattered rain developing; seas slight to moderate.
