The Butenko mystery has deepened after the discovery that the supposed blood stains found on a staircase were red ink.

David 4 Anderson, the driver of the iEdinburgh-Glasgow express which was involved in the Castlecary crash on December 10th, was arrested and appeared privately before the Dumbartonsliire Sheriff. He was released on hail. LATE FOR LUNCHEON. MISHAP TO LORD GALWAY’S PLANE. CANBERRA, February 10. Yesterday the official luncheon at Parliament House wap delayed because of a mishap to the aeroplane in which Lord Galway was flying from Sydney to Canberra. Just before the plane j took off it was found that trouble had j developed with the brakes. After a hasty examination. Lord Galway was j transferred to another plane and arrived in Canberra shortly after the scheduled time.
