ACCIDENTS
A MAN KILLED (Per Press Association —Copyright). INVERCARGILL, September 23. A fatality occurred in the HomerHollyford Valley on Okura Road construction works shortly before noon today, when William Caird, aged 47. a married man with five children, residing at Eye St., Invercargill, lost his life through the branch of a tree falling and killing him outright Caird was employed by the Public Works in a bush felling gang, securing timber for road construction purposes
