BAKER’S CLAIM AGAINST AIERCHANT.

WELLINGTON, September 22.

A reserved decision was given by Mr Lawry, S.AL, to-day, in the Petone -Magistrate’s Court, in a case in which W. J. Reid, baker and pastrycook, claimed £lB4 4s lOd from Stoupe and Sons, Ltd., Flour, Grain and Produce Merchants, of Wellington. Mr Lawry said that there was no doubt that the plaintiff had suffered some damage, and he awarded him £65 with costs £l4 8s fid. He said that he had taken a counter claim for £27 14s 4d into account in his judgment.

The claim arose from defective gooas and loss oi trade allegedly as the result of the flour supplied.
