A FIVE-GUN BOMBER BERLIN, September 20. Ivn'wn as the “Dornier battle bomber,” Germany’s latest war pvtnt will be given a thorough trial when combined Army, Navy, and Air Force manoeuvres are held near the Baltic e : st. of Pnn.arania next week. When fully laden wifh three and a half tons of bombs the plane will womb 20 tons Fitted with four engines, each of 250 h.n.. it lias a range of 1100 miles. ft carries throe cannons. One fires from a moveable turret in front of the pilot. Another is olaeed amidships, with a field of fire in all directions. The third gun is carried in a retractable turret under the fuselage. There is also a machine-gun in the cocknit and another at the tail of the machine. The crew consists of two pilots, a radio operator, and five gunners. It is one of the most formidable planes in the world.
