PEACE OF U.S.A.

BROADCASTS BY MINISTERS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). NEW YORK, Sept. 20. A realisation of the futility of attempting to ensure the peace of the United States by means of isolation was expressed by Air O: Hull (Secretary of State) in a National Peac-e Conference international broadcast. He said: “We must contribute conditions upon which peace everywhere can be maintained, or ultimately must protect and sustain ourselves round: a world ridden with war and force. The security of the United States would be seriously jeopardised if international anarchy replaced law,” Air AfacKenzie King (Prime Minister of Canada), contributing a broadcast, from Ottawa, said: “The means of creating an enduring peace exists in economic co-operation.”
