The fat sheep entry was larger than last week, approximately 4,’750 Jof ;indifferent .quality being penned,/ althaugh there were a i./few • trucks oof good sheep the- forward values ;-, wgre erratic, but there was a slight-., appreciation on last week! s sale; for prime sheep. Lighter sorts were weaker by Is to Is 6d. Ewes sold-to 46s 7d. / /

' The pork entry was of medium size and there - was an- excellent sale. Choppers were in medium supply-/and remained on a par with last Mweek’s sale price. Bacon - comprised/, a large entry there -being • keen-competition with further : increases; >in . prices.
