BOMB OUTRAGES
IN U.S.A. CINEMAS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). ■NEW Y r ORK, September 13. The stench of bombs and of teargas bombs, .were experienced when iiombs w t »re simultaneously exploded in twenty-four of the New York cinemas, half-way through the night screenings. Thousands of people stampeded into the streets to escape the choking and nauseating fumes. - Fifty people were injured. The majority are suffering from minor 'burns and cuts. Police squads rushed to the theatres to control the panic-stricken crowds. The outrage is attributed to a labour dispute.
