The New Zealand cricketers experienced a day remarkable in Dublin d'icket, playing on a pitch helping the bowlers The weather was dull. Ireland’s team collapsed, before bowling that was full of zest. Carson and Roberts put the home team on tho defensive by the quick capture of two wickets each. Then Gallichan and Moloney, with accurate spin bowling, finished the innings for 79 in under Two hours.

'The New Zealand team was then out in one hour by tricky spin bowline for 64 runs. Devastating fast medium oil breaks by Boucher did the damage. Tho analysis of Boucher read 5 wickets for 12 runs and 7 wickets for 13.
