WEDDING BELLS
COOPER—HALL. On Saturday afternoon at All Sa nts Church. Hokitika, the marriage took place of -lean Sophia, eldest dang iter of Mr and Mrs W. Hall, Dunedin ilo el, Hokitika, and of Regina.d Janies, only son of Mrs Cooper, Greymouth. Hie Rev A. A. Harper performed the ceremony and Miss M. Davies was at the organ. Escorted by her father, the hi ido wore a gown of magnoLa satin made with a high neckline and turn down collar, long sleeves narrowing to a point at the wrists, and a fan-shaped train. Her embossed tulle veil le i from a halo of pearls and orange Ij.ossom and she carried a sheaf of arum lilies.
The two bridesmaids, Misses Florence Hall, sister of the bride and Ruby Cooper, sister of the bridegroom wore frocks of shell-pink lace cut on dassi cal lines with a iantailed basque. 1 ho.> wore halos of silver lame and carried bouquets of spring flowers. Th e bridegroom was attended by Messrs George Hughes and Frederick Hath The reception was hold at the Soldiers’ Hall. For travelling the bride wore a blue and white tunic suit with a navy tazei straw hat and a grey orminette swagger coat
