CALGARY, September 9.

Eight thousand people who were asembled at the Alberta People s League mass meeting adopted, a resolution demanding the resignation or Mr Aberhart, the Social Credit Premier of Alberta.

The resolution stated that the Premier in effect has abdicated, turning over the province to Major Douglas. Mr Aberhart’s promises, it was stated, bad not been fulfilled; Canada’s Constitution bad been defied; the Courts had been restricted; and tlm distress of the poor capitalised.
