The New Zealand team at Mount Kosciusko spent a day in slalom practice in the region of Pulpit Rock and Trnpyard Creek, also doing a Imkn for newsreel photographers. Their smart black and white uniforms and Australian hats were greatly admired. The Langlauf was hold this morning over a ten-mile course. There was a warm wind blowing, and the spring snow was soft and slow. '1 he competitors were timed at the half-way mark by a short-wave wireless transmitter.
There were seven out ries. six ol which were from New South \\ ales and the other from Tasmania. Yietoiia did not enter.
New Sooth Wales won the interstate match, the result being: E. Kaiten, 1 hr 29 mins -19 secs. 1 ; K. Breakspear. 1 hr 23 mins 3 secs. 2; S. Grace, 3- W. Pnttinson. 4; L. Bligli o.
If possible, the Australian championships will start to-morrow.
