Playing the last match of the tour the New Zealand Hockey team deteated the Sydney Metropolitan team 6 goals to nil. The visitors provided a splendid exhibition against the strongest Metropolitan team seen for some time. ’Jhe New.. Zealand forwards were too fast for the-local men. ’The play was of a standard seldom seen in Sydney. Manager Gracie, at the conclusion ol the game, said that their exhibition was a complete answer to the Austin linn critics who earlier in the tour, had said the present team was not up to the standard of the previous New Zealand elevens. . Wilson, right back for New Zealand played an outstanding game. The scorers were: Robertson (2), Brown (2), R-oughton, and Watson. The players return' to New Zealarnby the Awatea to-m Arrow and the Warn ganella on Saturday.
