A representative meeting of Southland Dairy Factory Directors passed the following resolution, which has been sent to the Minister: “We demand a guaranteed price of not i»*n» than Is 6d per pound for hutterfat, this being the absolute minimum necessary to meet the increased costs with which the industry is being loaded, and to enable the dairy farmers to maintain a reasonable standard of living, and to pay competitive wages with other industries.”
