WELLINGTON, May 19. ( The Government Meteorologist issued the following at noon to-day. General inference: A depression of moderate intensity is crossing the Dominion while an anticyclone is advancing across the Tasman Sea. The forecast is for moderate, to strong northerly winds at first north of Greymonth, otherwise southerlies prevailing and freshening somewhat. Weather still unsettled with further rain and on the ranges snow. Temperatures becoming cold,' seas moderate.- ; i
