Clayton, who was described on the charge sheet as a company manager, aged forty-one, was fined £lO on a similar charge last July, and had his licence enclosed. This morning, the Magistrate cancelled Clayton’s licence, and declared him .unfit to drive tor five years. “fhTfact that,Clayton was driving a ear with only one headlight, led to liis arrest, said Senior Sergeant Calwell. Clayton could not give any coherent account as to why he had onlv one headlight, and was taken to the polico station.
