DAVIS CUP. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, May 16In the Davis Cup,tennis at Brussels, La Croix and Deborman defeated Steiner and Maneff, 6/3, 6/4 6/1. BRUSSELS, May 17. Belgium eliminated Switzerland in the Davis Cup by four matches to one. Naevert defeated Fisher 4-6, 6.0, 4.6, 6-3, 7-5. La Croix defeated Eelmer 6-0, 6-4, 6-1. Belgium will meet Sweden in the quarter final. WARSAW, May 17. Czechoslovakia defeated Poland by 5 matches to nil and will meet France in the quarter final. At Paris, France defeated England at tennis by ten matches to five. The result included the following:—Marcel Bernard defeated Hare 6/4, 6/1; Destremeau defeated Lee 3/6, >6/0, 6/J; Hare and Wilde defeated Borotra and Marcel Bernard 6/8, 6/1, 6/4.
