CHANCE OF NAME. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, May 17. The following announcement appears in the London newspapers:— “Notice is hereby given by deed poll, dated May 7, 1937, that I, Wallis Warfield, residing at Chateau Do Cande, Monts, formerly Bessie Wallis Simpson, have -renounced and abandoned the Christian name of Bessie and also have renounced and abandoned the. surname of Simpson ; and in lieu thereof, have assumed the surname of Warfield.— Signed May 14, 193".—Wallis Warfield.”
