A cable despatched from London on Thursday, and received here on Satuiday, from TVlr H. M. Goulsqn, who, along with his son, is on a visit to Great Britain, says in respect to the Coronation the day before, that it was a magnificent spectacle and a wonderful tribute to the Royal Family. New Zealand has every prospect of making a large income from Australian tourists in the next few years, according to the former Australian Tourist and Trade Commissioner, Mr It. H. The West Coast farmers touring party returned on Saturday evening from their 13 days tour of the North Island. The party, some 70 strong, travelled as far as Auckland, and visited the Waikato Show at Hamilton, and Rotorua, a most enjoyable holiday being recorded. They were hospitably received wherever they went. The m.v. Hokitika sailed for Wellington about midnight on Saturday, and is expected to leave that port on the return trip on Wednesday evening.
