IN BAY OF PLENTY AREA (Per Press Association —Copyright). WHAKATANE, May 13. The Minister of Marine, the Hon P. Fraser, has advised Air A. G. Hidtquist, M.P., that he has lnul prepared a draft Order-in-Couneil regulating the. inshore fishing of trawlers in the Bay of Plenty. Under the proposed regulations Danish seining and trawling will Be prohibited within two miles from low-water mark of the area from Whangamata. Harbour from Cape Runaway, and trawling, but not Danish seining is to be forbidden in the area inshore of a straight line from Motiti Island to Karewha Island, and thence to Kati Kati Harbour, including Tauranga Harbour.
