“Pe;lce Missions” connected with the American evangelist, Father Divine’s movement, exist in Sydney and Melbourne. According to one Sydney newspaper, a New Zealand woman was the stated local centre in 1924. She says his followers recognise hi s presence as God, instead of thinking qf God in heaven.
