KOKATAHB STOCK SALE.
W. Jeffries and Co., report having held a sale at lvokatahi on Wednesday 7th April. The yarding comprised mostly cows with a fair proportion ol young cattle most of which were sold at auction. The attendance was not large and it would appear Irom the stock coming forward that sales in this district will be about through for the winter. Sales were:—sheep. 3 owes and 2 lamb s at 24.'0 for R. Villmnsen ; 7 fat lambs at 26/- tor R. Baird ; 11 fat wethers at 30/- for Mrs Amberger. Cattle:—l runner at £4/2/6; 1 cow at £3/0/0 for /Mrs Amberger; 1 cow at £5/0 0. 1 heifer at £5/0/0 for F. Amberger; 3 runners at £2/15/0 for N. Harris; 2 cows at £2/10/-, 1 heifer in profit £5 2/6, 1 3-year-old bull £2/15/-, 10 1? months jersey cross heifers in calf £4/10/- for M. Wallace; 2 cows in calf at £s'o 0 tor P. Heslan ; 1 cow in profit £6/0/0 for T. P. O’Neill ; 1 cow and calf £2/5/- for C, IC. Sparkes,
