CIGARETTE TRAGEDY,

SYDNEY, February 17.

Arthur Vincent, powder-monkey, lit a cigarette, dropped the match into cotton-waste\in his shirt pocket, and brushed it off, blazing, into a bo£ of explosive. He was blown to death. “This will prove a warning to others of the danger of smoking while, handling explosives,” said the Coroner, Mr W. C. Barker, returning a finding of accidental death to-day.
