OBITUARY
The death occurred yesterday at her tosidence, the Metropbiitat. ( Hotel Wellington, of Mrs Bridget Ryan, relict of Patrick Ryan, formerly of Kumara.- Deceased- was a native of County Tipperary, 1 Ireland. She leaves two daughters and two sons. .
The Vent h occurred at.nis residence, 22 I'nnibr a fstieot. Nelson, on Thursday evening last of Mr Patrick Joseph Callaghan, aged 65 years. Deceased was a commercial traveller and agent who visited thes© parts at frequent intervals. He leaves a wife and one daughter. •

WELLINGTON, November 9. The death has occurred at Wellington of Miss Emma, Margaret Rain--forth, who sine© her retirement from the teaching profession in 1926 has been living quietly at Kelburn. Miss Rainforth had a distinguished career at the Otago University. 1 Later she 1 taught at Auckland, becoming headmistress of Prince Albert College. Alter a health trip to Europe Miss Rain- j forth was senior mistress at Wellington Girls’ College,-pyhere she taught for many years. ■
