No agreement was reached by tne jury in the Supreme Covlrt to-day inthe re-trial of Isabel Annie Aves, also known as 'Mrs Craike. She is charged with unlawfully using an instrument with intent to procure a miscarriage, on seven occasions between May 1935 and June 1936, at Hastings. j Jeff application by. the Crown for a |u%sfe|srial was granted and th e ease was l set„down for hearing at the Wellington criminal sessions in February next.

The accused w,as allowed bail on the same conditions as formerly. The defence called no evidence to-day.
