Mr Brendon Dowling, h Sydney accountant and company director, Avho arrived at Sydney by the Mariposa, said a syndicate was being formed in Sydney to establish'a faster transport service between North America, New Zealand, and Sydney. Two liners would be placed on the trans-Paeific service as soon as practicable.
