Segers, an ex-Minister, of having brought pressure to bear upon the last Government, to aid bis-bank. M. Renkin, a former Prime Minister, who died in 1934, it was allged, obtained a loan of £1,000,000 from tho ' State for the bank. In consideration for this, it was said, the hank paid' him £IOOO a year. Another former Prime Minister, JL de Broqueville, was alleged to have concealed Renkih’s action. The fourth charge was directed against M. Van Cauwelaert, a former Minister, who, it was alleged, obtained State funds for flis son’s bank which' failed.
