FOUR MINISTERS ; SERIOUS BELGIAN ALLEGATIONS* (Per Press Association—Copyright), BRUSSELS, July 19. . Participation in grave eial scandals is alleged ■ -against foufl former Ministers of the Belgian Government. / Two of those involved in the charges which’were made in the Senate to-day, are former Prime Ministers of Belgium., Count de Grunne; a friend of tho late King Albert, on behalf of tho Belgian Fascists and R-exists, accused M. Segers, an ex-Minister, of having brought pressure to bear upon the last Government, to aid bis-bank. M. Renkin, a former Prime Minister, who died in 1934, it was allged, obtained a loan of £1,000,000 from tho ' State for the bank. In consideration for this, it was said, the hank paid' him £IOOO a year. Another former Prime Minister, JL de Broqueville, was alleged to have concealed Renkih’s action. The fourth charge was directed against M. Van Cauwelaert, a former Minister, who, it was alleged, obtained State funds for flis son’s bank which' failed. ' • ’ ' ’ ' After tbe 'charges . had been made in the l7 Senate,, the Prime Minister (M. : Van ?.Zeeland) said that the Public Prosecutor" vjrould make an investigation.
